Saghi: Off-track, and Pushed Right Back On!

Saghi: Off-track, and Pushed Right Back On!

For the past two weeks I did not stick to my 6 days a week workout schedule. I started feeling exhausted and weak. I needed to rest and take it easy. Like Jess’ recent blog: you have to listen to your body. Normally I’d have some food before a strength workout with Jess, for some reason on Monday all I had was a rice cake with almond butter, a few hours earlier. BIG mistake! By the time we got through the first set I was feeling dizzy and really low on energy. As Jess would describe it: I was hitting a wall. “Listen to Your Body”

This is a phrase I’m repeating to my clients constantly. So I want to elaborate on it, so that everyone really understands what this means. Whether you know it or not, there is a constant communication between your wellness and your brain. The challenge after that fitting will be to maintain my weight and not lose more than 5 lbs. The last thing I want is my dress feeling loose on me. So Jess has helped me to come up with a workout and diet plan to help maintain my weight. I’m confident that it will...

New Video – Beginner Strength Workout

New Video – Beginner Strength Workout

Here is a complete circuit, appropriate for the beginner or even intermediate for a quick butt-kicking. You will hit every part of the body, and keep the heart rate up! Tighten, tone, strengthen, and blast fat. Safe for post-pregnancy, too (once your doctor gives you the go ahead, of course). So follow along. I had a tricky time with music (apparently we are not allowed to play music in our videos anymore) so if it disappears, I’ll replace it with some other tunes. Work hard!
