Your Body Isn't Broken. It's Just Asking for a Different Approach.

You've tried the diets. Keto, maybe a few others. You've white-knuckled your way through plans that worked for someone else and quietly wondered why they didn't work for you.

If you're tired, puffier than you used to be, short-tempered with the people you love most, and starting to feel like a stranger in your own body — you're not failing. You're just trying to solve a midlife problem with a twenty-something's playbook.

It's Not a Discipline Problem

Here's what I want you to know before anything else: the plan you tried probably wasn't wrong because you didn't try hard enough. It was wrong because it wasn't built for what's actually happening in your body right now.

Your hormones are shifting. Your nervous system is likely more taxed than you realize. Blood sugar regulation changes. Muscle gets harder to build and easier to lose. None of that means something is wrong with you — it means the rules changed, and most programs never got the memo.

I spent years training clients the same way regardless of their life stage, until my own perimenopause forced me to learn otherwise. What works in your 20s and 30s doesn't just need to be scaled down for your 40s and 50s — it needs to be fundamentally different. That's the gap most coaching misses, and it's the gap BIOME was built to close.

How We Get You There: The BIOME Method

Every client moves through the same five pillars, customized entirely to your body, your history, and your life.

Balanced biomechanics and blood sugar. We start here because most fatigue, cravings, and stubborn puffiness trace back to blood sugar swings — and most pain traces back to compensation patterns built up over years. We correct both at the same time.

Integration. This is where core, glute, and lat integration comes in — not as isolated exercises, but as the foundation that makes every other movement safer and stronger. We also integrate healthy habits into your actual life, not a fantasy version of it.

Optimize sleep and nervous system resilience. You cannot out-train a nervous system that's stuck in overdrive. We work on this directly, not as an afterthought.

Metabolic health. Strength training, food, and recovery working together to help your body do what it's actually built to do — build muscle, regulate energy, and stop fighting you.

Energy and endurance. Not "more cardio." Real, sustainable capacity — the kind that lets you keep up with your kids, travel without dreading it, and feel like yourself again.

What This Actually Looks Like

We start with a conversation — your current and past experience with exercise, what you've tried, what hasn't worked, and what you're actually hoping changes. From there, you'll complete a questionnaire so I understand your body's specific patterns and history.

Then we build your program: strength training customized to your compensation patterns and goals, nutritional guidance centered on blood sugar balance, and a level of check-in and support that matches where you are and what you need.

That last part is intentional. Some clients want hands-on, regular contact and form coaching. Others are more self-led and want accountability without the daily back-and-forth. There's no universal answer — and you don't have to guess which one is right for you. We figure that out together, on the call, based on your actual life and how you work best.

Early on, sessions are careful and form-focused — we're building a foundation. As your body gets more resilient, things open up: more creative, more dynamic, more fun. Most clients tell me that within a couple of months, they feel different from the inside out — and that back pain that may have brought them to me in the first place is usually resolved within the first month or two.

Who This Is For

This is for you if you're a mom who's given a lot to everyone else and is ready to take her health seriously again — not as one more task on the list, but as the foundation everything else depends on. If you've tried diets before and they didn't stick. If you're done guessing and ready for someone to actually tell you what to do, specific to your body. If you want to feel calm, capable, and at home in yourself again — not just smaller.

This is not for you if you're looking for a quick fix, chasing a number on the scale above all else, or hoping for an extreme plan that ignores how your body actually works. It's also not the right fit if you're not ready to make any changes to food or add strength training — those are non-negotiable parts of how real change happens here.

Modify, Don't Quit

That's the philosophy behind everything I do, and it's probably the opposite of what you've been told.

Most plans ask you to be perfect or start over. Life doesn't work that way — not with kids, a job, a body that doesn't always cooperate, and a calendar that has its own ideas. So instead of asking you to white-knuckle your way through, we build something that bends with your actual life: when sleep is wrecked, when work is brutal, when you tweak your back gardening. We adjust. We don't abandon ship.

The goal isn't a perfect month. It's a body and a routine resilient enough to survive an imperfect one — because that's the only kind of life any of us actually have.

This is rebuilding from the inside out: not chasing a number on the scale, but restoring the systems underneath it — your strength, your blood sugar balance, your sleep, your nervous system — so the outside follows naturally.
